Another great walk which was led by Eddie and Denis. 25 members attended. The  most famous person to have lived in Steeple Bumpstead was Edith Cavel 1865 – 1915. En route we stopped to admire Moynes Hall. This is a 16th century Elizabethan House. In the summer of 1956 Ian Fleming stayed at Moynes Hall. This is where he completed writing his thriller “From Russia with Love”.
