Fulbourn Walk

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

After a welcome downpour overnight, it was a bright morning when 24 members met at the Fulbourn Centre. Our leader Claire took us across the Recreation Ground through the Nature Reserve heading towards Gt Wilbraham. Passing through the village we took our break on the Common.  Heading back we crossed the railway line and passed Fulbourn Rice Mill (originally built in the 1940’s as a WW2 grain store)  before we returned to the Centre.  Some members stayed to enjoy a picnic. Many thanks to David for providing cakes and to Claire for leading our walk today as well as Norman our back marker.
