Today was our last walk in the Summer Programme. The weather was kind to us and 26 members joined us on a 5.9. mile ramble from Reach. Every May Day there is the Reach Fair, one of England’s oldest festivals. This has been an annual event for over 800 years since receiving its charter in 1201 from King John. Our leaders Chris and Brian took us along Devil’s Dyke, we then headed to the village of Swaffham Prior.
