Nuthampstead Walk

21 of us braved Storm Bert – the winds were up to 50 miles per hour but we all completed the 5.8 mile walk with the guidance of our leaders Gill and John. The route took us by the site of the former RAF Nuthampstead Airfield making our way to Scales Park Wood. The site was formerly Scales Park, which was planted with oak trees after the Battle of Trafalgar.
