Haslingfield Walk

It was a bright sunny morning in Haslingfield as 18 walkers gathered by the village sign. Clive, our walk leader today informed us that the sign bears the image of Queen Elizabeth I as she had visited Haslingfield and lost her ring in a moat here according to local tales. We then set off heading towards Harston crossing the River Cam. We stopped at a local store in Harston where several members purchased a much appreciated ice cream as it had turned rather warm in the now full sunshine. Continuing on our way towards Hauxton, we passed through the village and then turned back to Haslingfield, making it the Three H’s Walk. Thanks to our walk leader Clive and our back marker Ali.  Thanks also to Ali and Eddie for cakes and buns for our picnic.
