Expectations of another damp and muddy walk were soon dispelled as 25 members and one guest gathered outside The Greyhound pub. The sun began to shine on cue for the first day of Spring with plenty of daffodils already in bloom. Denis our leader guided us towards Whittlesford and over the River Cam. We stopped briefly by St Mary & St Andrew’s church before walking through Whittlesford and finally returning to Sawston. Thanks to Denis and Eddie who was back marker.
