Haslingfield Walk

On a glorious sunny morning 25 of us gathered at the Queen Elizabeth 1st Village sign at
Haslingfield for a 5-mile walk. Clive our leader gave us a brief history of the village sign. Queen Elizabeth 1st stayed for one night only at the Manor House in the year 1564. We then made our way to Quarry Lane, up to the quarry high point. This is where we had fine views over Cambridge. Our coffee break was at the Harlton Quarry.
