Today was the start of our Summer 2025 Walk Programme + picnic lunches. It was a lovely dry morning for our 5.7 mile walk – 17 members attended. Here are some interesting facts about the village – the ITV drama “Grantchester” was first broadcast on ITV on the 6th October 2014. The Orchard Tea Rooms – the first orchard was planted in 1868. After our walk we had our picnic lunch in Trumpington Meadows Country Park where we admired the wood carvings. Rayna and John N. provided us with yummy cakes.
