It was a glorious sunny day with temperatures reaching 30c. 14 members braved the heat and walked 6-miles. This route is known as The Three Churches walk – which starts from All Saints Church at Gazeley. Paul and Chris our leaders, took us on to a further 2 churches. St Peter’s Church in Moulton and St Mary’s Church in Dalham. In Dalham we passed the unusual red bottle shaped brick malt kiln. There were many of these kilns in Suffolk. They used to dry the grain for the brewing industry. ( Beer and Whiskey).
