Fenstanton Walk

Due to the adverse wet weather causing flooding the leaders had to adapt the route. But 29 of us did admire the flooding that swamped the fields. Brenda informed us about the Fen Drayton Lakes which are managed by the RSPB. Something really special happens from September to December. Starling flocks gather at dusk to roost in the reed beds. On our way back we passed the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Fenstanton where Capability Brown is buried.
