Today was a very big occasion for Comberton Ramblers as we celebrated 50 years of rambling. To mark this special day 21 members attended a 5.5 mile walk from Duxford. Our Chair Peter was the leader and he gave us a brief history of the village. Duxford is famous for the “Spitting Image” show which was first broadcast in 1984. The puppets were created by Peter Fluck and Roger Law. After our picnic lunch we celebrated in style with cake and drinks.
