Today was the first walk of our Summer Programme which was a 5.5-mile walk starting from the recreation ground at Comberton, it was a glorious sunny day. We had 2 guest walkers join us – Janice and Neil. In total 29 walkers. The first part of the walk we walked down Swaynes Lane, Comberton where we visited the wildlife garden of Aiden. His garden is a hotbed of activity for wildlife. I wish to thank Christine for hosting our picnic in her delightful garden. Where we all enjoyed cups of tea and delicious home-made cakes which were provided by Carolyn and Stella.
