Leading up to this walk the weather has not been kind but we were all surprised by such a
nice morning. The 6-mile walk commenced from the Willingham Auction Tea room – 31 attended including Jo a guest walker. Our leaders were Carolyn and Jackie. Carolyn informed us that flower and fruit growing was a major industry in the village until the 1980’s. We had our coffee break on the Aldreth Causeway. This was part of the ancient road from Cambridge to Ely.
