Nuthampstead Walk

Our Coronation walk – 23 members attended. After meeting at The Woodman Public House at Nuthampstead we did a 6 mile walk. Taking in the lovely views of Hertfordshire.  Our leaders were John and Norman. They informed us that during World War II RAF Nuthampstead was home initially to the 55^th Fighter group then it became the 398^th Bombardment Group. The weather was dry and at times when the sun came out no coats were required.
