Today we ventured into Essex. 24 members attended with 4 guest walkers (Jenny, Terry, Rus and Susan). Our leaders were Eddie and Denis and they took us on a 5 mile walk through the undulating Essex countryside reaching the highest point (482 ft above sea level) at Chiswick Hall Farm. On our way back we visited the thatched Hamlet church in Duddenhoe End. This was a former Glebe Barn converted into a church by Robert Wilkes in 1859. Pictures of the walk are on our Gallery page.
