Ashwell Walk

For our walk today we met at the recreation ground at Ashwell (17 of us) on a fine sunny day, the temperature was 26C for a 6-mile walk. Ian one of our leaders pointed out that today was Waterloo Day. He led the first half of the walk which is in the flatter farmland north of the village. En route we came to a shed of cows, this is where Sarah had a hand massage by Kelly the cow. Gill was our leader for the second half of the walk which took us along the south side of the village.
